The Wild About Devon Awards were held on Tuesday 25 March 2025 at the Local Nature Partnership Conference in Exeter.

The  awards “celebrate individuals, groups and parish councils making a real difference for nature across Devon”. This year, over 70 nominations were received.

We are delighted to report that Wildlife Council of the Year is Rattery Parish Council. The citation mentioned  the new nature reserve, footpaths, tree planting, the Bidwell Brook Partnership and, most importantly community engagement.
