South Devon Alpine Society Programme 2026/2027
Meetings are held (unless a garden visit) in Rattery Village Hall TQ10 9LD @ 2.00pm – all welcome.
PROGRAMME 2026
All meetings start at 2.00 p.m. and cost £5 except 8th October
8th October 1.30 p.m.: Visit (£7.50 including tea and coffee) Burnham Nurseries Forches Cross Newton Abott for a guided tour of their outstanding orchid collection.
5th November: Penny Hammond. ‘Flowers of Croatia’
3rd December: Julian Sutton ‘A dream of winter’ plants to brighten up dark days.
PROGRAMME 2027
7th January: David Carver. ‘Miniature Narcissi- looking at true miniatures’
4th February: Kurt Vickery. ‘The flora of Chile’.
4th March: Ben Candin from Adventurous Plants ‘The plants of The Canary Islands’ plus members show and plant display.
1st April: Visit to Penny Hammond, 44 Highweek Village TQ12 1QQ and AGM. Penny has a large collection of Alpines and other interesting plants.
